We received many compliments from our guests on the ceremony and it was exactly what we wanted. From our very first meeting with you, we knew that you were the perfect Officiant for us. We appreciate that you took the time with us to make sure that every detail of our ceremony reflected us as a couple. We also appreciate all of your guidance with respect to the ceremony from planning, helping us find the perfect readings, answering all of our questions and even calming some nerves on the big day. Your fantastic personality and your kindness made it a pleasure to both work with you in planning our ceremony and to have you perform our ceremony at the wedding. Our outside wedding took place on August 29th, 2009, in the rain, with umbrellas instead of tents. Roy was nothing short of wonderful. We had booked another officiant, however due to a very serious illness she had to cancel, and Roy stepped in 11 days before the wedding. Needless to say I was very stressed having a change in officiant so close to the wedding. We had already met and discussed everything with the first officiant, and did not have a chance to meet Roy before the wedding. Prior to the wedding during our contact to discuss everything, he was reassuring and open to us writing our own vows, adding readings and involving our family and friends the way we wanted. Roy was very sincere and genuine, and he had a great presence to him. Our ceremony was perfect. He always had a smile on his face, and his tone of voice was perfect. As the bridal party was arriving at the altar, he was wonderful in directing and organizing everyone quietly, so that we all knew where to stand and what to do, especially when it came to the signing. He and his wife Donna truly helped to make the ceremony a beautiful, unique (how many people use Tiki torches as unity candles - one of John's great ideas!) and memorable occasion!!!

I cannot express enough our happiness and excitement after our first meeting with John and his lovely wife, Donna. We knew that we had chosen the right wedding officiate to conduct our wedding. From the first meeting to our subsequent meeting at their wonderful home in Arnprior, we knew that this couple were very special and giving individuals.
