He is active in the United Way, the Barrhaven children’s softball league and many volunteer activities in the community. Phil is presently employed in the private sector and has a background as a writer and broadcaster. His wedding presentation style helps lighten the stresses typically experienced during that BIG day. John is active in the local volunteer community in Arnprior. A former banker he now devotes much time to his award winning garden and helping people. John is the type of wedding officiant who loves to spend time with couples helping them with their personalized wedding ceremony. He travels Ottawa and the Valley conducting weddings. John is a warm and caring individual who will make you feel relaxed while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for your family and friends.

Ethan and Anouck John was an absolute pleasure to work with, kind, enthusiastic, always helpful.....and most importantly did not run when we told him we'd be having the ceremony outdoors in the middle of a Canadian winter!!! He and his wife Donna truly helped to make the ceremony a beautiful, unique (how many people use Tiki torches as unity candles - one of John's great ideas!) and memorable occasion!!!

Barbara Coté is a lay wedding officiant who resides in Carleton Place. She conducts weddings in West Ottawa, and part of the Valley. Barbara will conduct your civil or spiritual wedding ceremony at a location of your choice. She enjoys her work as a volunteer with the Ottawa Multiple Birth Society. While working at the ottawa court house she helped plan many weddings there. Barbara is a kind and caring person who will help you make your day all you want it to be.
